- Select a photo and complementary pattern for background.
- Size photo to wrap around 4x4 canvas - print photo and two full sheets of the pattern on Scrap Booking Attitude in reverse - let inks dry.
- Spray adhesive on printed side of first pattern sheet and apply print side down to front album cover. Peel one corner up and gently remove carrier. Cut print excess at spine seam (optional) with Exacto knife after removing carrier. Save the carrier sheet for future projects.
- Repeat step 3 to cover back and spine with second pattern sheet. Excess strip cut from front or back can be applied to spine. Burnish both sides and spine very well with fingers. Make sure all the edges are pressed down well.
- Spray adhesive on print side of photo and wrap around the 4x4 canvas. Apply heat with iron or heat gun to surface and press into texture with fingers. If using iron, protect surface of canvas photo with fabric or parchment. The heat softens the printed film and allows it to get into the texture.
- Position canvas photo in center of front cover and attach using glue gun. Then using glue gun tightly adhere metallic cord around the canvas photo, paying attention to corners. Turn album as applying, making sure the cord is against the canvas photo tightly. You might have to give the cord an extra twist when wrapping around corners.
- Using glue gun add metallic cord around edges of pattern print on front cover if desired.
- Embellish with foam glittered flowers in complementary colors. Press everything in place with fingers once more.
